Our record

We have been involved in the selection of some of South Africa’s top racehorses. We have a proven track record which reflects an exceptional strike rate of graded stakes performers to horses purchased. Our percentage of horses with higher than average merit is exceptional. We are also known to have a rare rate of success, considering that we generally buy from the bottom twenty percent of any price list.

We have an exciting group of 20 well balanced athletic horses, many of which are already in advanced training. Our aim is to develop a competitive team of racehorses capable of paying their way. We hope to find one or two in the parcel, capable of competing in the higher divisions.

Our Runners

In the last eighteen months or so years we have been represented by Grade 1 winners Happy Archer and Gold Onyx, Grade 2 winners Golden Chariot and Silver Age as well as the Listed winner Pomodoro.

Add to that the relatively unexposed horses that are showing high class potential, Crown Heights, Perigrine, Nikki T, Mythical Palace, Tandragee, Slumdogmillionaire, Filly Bushwacker, Bamako, Taiki Dancer, Up Above and Reign as Kings.

Many of our selections, showing top class potential are still to make their debuts. Right now the sky is the limit. We look forward to a year of great success and many feature victories.

Happy Archer to fly the flag

Happy Archer will fly the flag for Quest Racing, when she takes on  the best that South Africa has to offer in the Gr1 Majorca Stakes over a mile on Met Day.

Already a dual Gr1winner, it seems that Happy Archer saves her best for the Grade 1’s and remains unbeaten at this level.

Against her is the fact that she battles to settle in a slow run race, which is par for the course in the Cape.
